A great story that involves music and musicians getting involved in the oldest game that ever was is Bagpipe Lover by Rob Hopcott.
After playing his piece for the audience in the pub, the piper glances over and sees the lady of his dreams. The only problem is that she is married, apart from the fact that she is surrounded by doting males.
Our bagpiper hero is transfixed by her all evening but leaves the country inn to go home without even saying hello.
To his surprise, she joins him in the quiet country lane and their passion begins.
